the prep before the trip

Any great excursion starts with packing and preparation. One of my favorite parts of traveling is the journey to your destination. But of course many steps are needed beforehand to make the most out of your trip.
Not long after my flight or drive is scheduled I quickly check the weather to see what types of clothes I need to pack. My rule of thumb is to pack your favorite neutral clothes and shoes so you can mix and match in order to save space. It is also super important to bring enough clothes in case you get dirty but not too many where you have no space for other necessary things. Once your clothes and shoes are packed it is time to move onto toiletries, make sure to pack your necessities and never forget a hair brush!
Now, the next thing to pack is your travel bag. Inside you can bring your favorite items of entertainment, snacks, and more essentials. My bag usually contains a book to read on long drives, headphones for movies or music, my favorite snacks, a reusable water bottle, and a laptop for homework if needed. I usually spend most of my time listening to music so I always take time to make a new playlist of my favorite songs to listen to during the trip!
The absolute last thing I do before leaving my house is clean. I mean who even likes to clean, but no one wants to come home to a messy and dirty house after a great trip! Now that you’ve packed your suitcase, travel bag, and cleaned, it's time to put all your worries behind you and enjoy your vacation!

I also enjoy traveling often and was surprised to see that someone else has a similar "getting ready for a trip" routine! Your blog was very relatable and relaxing to read. It could actually serve as a simple guide for inexperienced travelers, as it is short and informative, but also personal. Listening to music is a great way to pass the time and I have recently started creating my own playlists to pass the time.
This post was easy to read and well spread out. The author did a good job explaining their experiences on how they went about getting ready. While they did this it also gave tips to other people on how they might do this as well. Some people tend to learn better by example, and this is exactly what that is, and example. You can really hear the author's excitement when talking about this topic, it can be guessed that they have done this a lot and are excited to be preparing once again. One of the things stressed in the post, it that only the essentials are needed, in case others things might be needed.
I loved the intimacy of the way wrote this blog. You seemed very sincere in what you were saying and very personal, almost as if you were talking directly to me. I can relate to the process of packing and making sure you have all the necessities. I enjoyed your advice on packing neutral clothes to save space which I never thought of before!
This was a very useful blog! I have never thought about bringing mostly neutral-colored clothes when traveling to save space but it makes a lot of sense. This would be very useful to look at the next time I leave for a trip. All the items in this blog are very useful for trips. Leaving a clean house is another really good point. Who would want to come back to a messy house.
really great tips for anyone traveling. They are simple and straight to the point. I can definitely use some of them when I travel next time. I never really pack in steps I just throw a bunch of things in the bag and hope I don't forget anything.
